We already knew that Brevard County’s home sales were up an average of about 9% over last year, with some areas like Satellite Beach being up about 20%. Now there is more good new for us, as far as unemployment. The attached article explains that Brevard unemployment rate drops to 7.4 percent, which is below the national average.
With
everything that this area has been through in last few years, with the
demise of the Shuttle program, it's nice to see a positive headline. Brevard County
really is such a great place to live, from our beautiful beaches and
rivers to our close proximity to Orlando. I love this county and I am
glad to see it coming back strong.
